My friend's college-age son, Dimitri, has been suffering for over a year with serious liver issues as the result of Grave's Disease. I asked Shirley to send me a description to post here:

Right now D is struggling with something called aplastic anemia. This means his bone marrow is not producing the red cells, white cells and platelets that he needs to live. He needs shots to stimulate his white and red cell production and transfusions to replace the platelets. His past problems have included acute liver failure requiring a transplant and complications requiring removal of 1/2 of his colon and an ileostomy bag. That's been reversed and so far so good. He will need either chemo or a bone marrow transplant.....
I believe that his 19yo sister will donate marrow if it comes to it

I'm bumping this post back up. Dimitri continues to struggle. He is scheduled for a bone marrow transplant in mid-July (his sister is his donor). They just did a bone marrow biopsy and learned that the anemia has become leukemia.

If you would please post a prayer for Dimitri and his family (mom Shirley, sister Cassandra), I will send Shirley to this thread to soak up your love.

Father, thank you for your love for each and every one of us - we are all your children and just as we as parents do not want our own children to suffer, neither do you want your children to endure illness or injury. Healing belongs to Dimitri because of what Jesus has done! I claim that healing for Dimitri and I command by the authority of Jesus Christ that every part of his body be made whole in Jesus' name. Every cell must function in the way that God intended. His transplanted liver must be made perfectly healthy in Jesus' name. Thank you Abba for your love and grace and mercy.

Thank you Father for Your healing touch manifesting in Dimitri. Thank you Holy Spirit for your healing power going to the marrow of his bones, and creating new cells, all perfected by the blood of Jesus. ALL LEUKEMIA IS CRUSHED AND ELIMINATED. It cannot survive in the Life pouring through his body. Thank you for new vitality and strength to his body each day. Thank you for new hope coming to Dimitri and his loving family. Thank you Papa for the beautiful surround of peace and love they experience from You. Thank you Jesus that You made complete provision for all healing.
